Held in Geneva, Switzerland, Watches & Wonders is a weeklong annual watch fair where some of the biggest watch brands in the world unveil their new pieces. As the 2022 edition of Watches & Wonders just wrapped up, we take a closer look at all the new Tudor watches that were released this year.
At W&W 2022, Tudor presented an entirely new watch collection called the Black Bay Pro. The watches feature 39mm steel cases, fixed steel 24-hour bezels, and in-house automatic movements (Caliber MT5652) with GMT functionality. Durable and sporty, the new Tudor Black Bay Pro is perfect for the adventurist traveler.
Not only can the watch keep track of two time zones simultaneously but it also includes a super practical hour hand that can jump in one-hour increments (back and forth), which makes it a breeze to change the local time when arriving at a new time zone. The black dial is punctuated with a yellow 24-hour “Snowflake” hand and shielded by a domed sapphire crystal.
In true Tudor fashion, the new Black Bay Pro watch is available with a matching three-link steel bracelet, a Jacquard-woven fabric strap, or a hybrid strap in black rubber and leather.
Tudor released a fresh iteration of its highly popular Black Bay GMT for 2022, in steel and gold. The new Tudor Black Bay GMT S&G watches retain the same 41mm case size of the steel models, but include a gold crown and gold bezel. What’s more, the bidirectional rotating 24-hour aluminum bezel inserts are rendered in black and brown, which complements the two-tone GMT flawlessly. The domed grained matte black dial is home to hour markers with gold surrounds and yellow gold hands.
Inside the watch is the same in-house Caliber 5652 automatic GMT movement, which in conjunction with the rotating bezel, allows the wearer of the Tudor Black Bay GMT S&G to track three time zones.
If you want to lean into the two-tone aesthetic, the Tudor Black Bay GMT S&G is offered with a matching steel and gold riveted bracelet. Otherwise, you can opt for a black Jacquard-woven fabric strap with a beige stripe or a brown leather strap with light top-stitching.

Tudor also expanded the Black Bay Chrono range by adding a new champagne dial option on the steel and gold models (previously, Black Bay Chrono S&G watches were only offered with black dials.) These new champagne dials include a pair of black registers, and the contrast not only helps in legibility but the face colorway matches the two-tone watch nicely.
Other details of the new Tudor Black Bay Chrono S&G watches remain the same, which is to say they have 41mm cases, a fixed black aluminum bezel marked with a tachymeter scale, an in-house made Caliber MT5813 automatic chronograph movement, and a choice of a steel bracelet, brown leather bund strap, or black fabric strap.

In addition to the above releases, Tudor also introduced steel and gold versions of the Black Bay 31/36/39/41. The Tudor Black Bay 31/36/39/41 S&G dressy watches include domed bezels (31, 36, and 39mm versions also offer the option of a diamond-set bezel), five-link bracelets, and time-only dials with Tudor’s signature “Snowflake” hands.
Finally, Tudor also expanded its lineup with two new Royal 28 watches with diamond-set bezels and mother-of-pearl dials with diamond indexes. These sport-chic timepieces are available in either full steel or two-tone steel and gold.
