New Montblanc 1858 Iced Sea Automatic Date Watches
The Montblanc 1858 Iced Sea Automatic Date is a new collection of diving watches that joins the brand’s catalog this year. Inspired by the frozen Sea of Ice found in the Mont-Blanc massif, the dials of these new Montblanc diving watches feature a striking glacier-like pattern that was executed using a traditional technique called gratté-boisé.
The Montblanc 1858 Iced Sea Automatic Date watches sport 41mm steel cases, which are water-resistant to 300 meters deep. They come with unidirectional timing ceramic bezels, as well as a new interchangeable strap system, which makes swapping out bracelets and straps super easy. Montblanc makes the 1858 Iced Sea Automatic Date in three colors —blue, green, or black — each available with a metal bracelet or rubber strap.

New Montblanc 1858 GMT Watches
Along with fresh diving watches, Montblanc also released a new lineup of GMT watches. The Montblanc 1858 GMT watches have 42mm steel cases with titanium casebacks, which are engraved with a world map featuring 24 main cities and their UTC offsets.
The dials, which are offered in blue or black, include a clever way of displaying the second time zone. Rather than the traditional 24-hour hand, the new Montblanc 1858 GMT watch indicates the second time zone via a window around the dial periphery that turns red — and shows both the hours and half-hours too. The watches are fitted with aluminum bezels that match the dial colors, and Montblanc offers the new 1858 GMT models with the option of bracelets or rubber straps.

New Montblanc 1858 Geosphere Chronograph 0 Oxygen LE290 Watch
Developed for globetrotting adventurers, the new 1858 Geosphere Chronograph 0 Oxygen LE290 packs two globes displaying 24-hour time zones (northern hemisphere at 12 and southern hemisphere at 6), chronograph hour and minute totalizers (at 3 and 9), and a date window (also at 3) all into a 44mm titanium case. What’s more, the cardinal points on the bezel can also be used as a compass and Montblanc has removed all the oxygen from the watch to prevent any fogging and oxidation.
Limited to only 290 pieces, the blue dial of the 1858 Geosphere Chronograph features the new glacier motif and the watch is fitted with a matching blue leather strap.

New Limited Edition Montblanc Minerva Watches
Minerva, the storied movement manufacturer, has been part of Montblanc’s operations for well over a decade now, which has paved the way for some truly special and complicated Montblanc watches powered by Minerva movements. And at Watches & Wonders 2022, three of these limited edition models were released.
The first is the vintage-inspired 1858 Minerva Monopusher Chronograph Red Arrow LE88, which draws design cues from aviation watches from the 1920s and 1930s. The watch features a 42mm steel case topped with an 18k white gold fluted bezel, a single-pusher chronograph powered by a beautiful Minerva manual wind movement, and a black dial punctuated with a red arrow hand.
The other two models are skeletonized versions, both dubbed The Unveiled Secret Minerva Monopusher Chronograph. The one limited to 18 examples is crafted from 18k “lime gold” while the other (limited to 58 pieces) is fashioned from stainless steel with a white gold fluted bezel.
